If all you need to do is change the screen then it WILL turn on. I have had and replaced the LCD on MANY ipod touch 4th gen and know this for a FACT. If it does not turn on after you plug it into a wall charger- not only is the screen bad but definitely the battery as well (at least). So, you should know that if you sell/give away as it is stating that it is just the screen and someone buys a new screen and it does not work, not have you only wasted every ones time and money for the person that bought it and a new screen, you will have to accept a return. Then it just becomes a hassle and all you will get is bad feedback and the loss of those credits........ all you have to do is place yourself in the winners position - you see how that would suck??
Do the right thing - either post EXACTLY what is wrong or have Listia remove it for you. Just words of wisdom and some advise.
