I'm not a clock master so i could not figure out how too keep this running with the back on it. i bought this through ebay for a gift from russia. and it is a beautiful piece and works when you take back off. i tried re setting thinking that was the problem. it is very sensitive. because when its all together it works sometimes maybe if you move it to lay on its side or up side down in a box.. lol it needs someone with a special touch and know how. needless to say i went back on ebay and found a neither for my gift. so up for auction this goes.
and the inside is very clean no rust. it does seem like maybe it was dropped one to many times off the bed table so its a little twisted and that may be why the back when put on causes it to stop. good luck!!!
