The listing, MALABAR SPINACH has ended.

Auction is for 10 MALABAR spinach seed. This is not really a spinach but very similar. It grows well in the heat as well as cool weather. This plant can be eaten just as spinach. Its a vining plant and can tolerate just about any soil. This is a must for your garden...you will not be disappointed!

Malabar Spinach , is said to have a poor germination rate. How has the germination rate been with your Malabar Spinach, and can you give some tips, on how to improve germination rates.

Mine is fine...it has germinated and it is growing. If you have problems with germination I would suggest trying to start indoors or using a paper towel germination method.

Thank you for getting back to me , so quickly. Here in Hawaii , many things grow well. Malabar Spinach is a new vegetable to me. The only thing I know about it, is what I have learned from the internet. If I am fortunate enough, to win this auction, I look forward to growing the Malabar Spinach, and will do as you suggest, if I should encounter any problems, with the germination, of the Spinach. No problem...this is a variety that actually does well in the heat. Unlike other varieties of spinach, this one does very well.
