This necklace was my grandmother's, and it's wonderful quality. I don't know what's in the middle, it looks like a little acorn or something. But I've worn it a few times and the gold shows no signs of fading- very pretty!!

I'm moving across the country and can't take everything so please take this! It deserves to be worn! It's SO GORGEOUS

I'm afraid I don't really understand/know the difference. It's possible it's stamped. It's not real gold, but I've had it for several years and none of it has worn away.
