Nice! lol I enjoyed reading your rules. I am still new to Listia, so I didn't realize there were scammers on here. I will have to keep an eye out. I might have to borrow your rules to apply to my acutions as well!! haha Great job on being straightforward. I prefer people to be that way because then you don't have to guess at what they want, etc.

Yes, there are scammers on here (once time a woman said she wanted to return a 14k gold ring, sent me a package filled with tissues, used delivery confirmation so they have her credits back PLUS she kept the ring, so now I don't accept returns) but there are still some really good people on here too. Good honest bidders will not be offended by rules :) Fanned you back, and good luck!!

Oh wow!!! That was awful - and of course you had no way to prove what she had done either, so you lost out all the way around. That is ridiculous!
I agree with you - good honest sellers are not going to mind the rules because it isn't like the rules require them to do something they wouldn't already do/not do. SO it wouldn't apply to them. Guess that means that if you get any complaints on your rules the buyer probably isn't as honest as you (or I if I was in your shoes) would like. Lol
Good luck to you. I prefer not to accept returns myself and on some things I won't accept returns. But that is more for sanitary reasons since I make and sell soaps, medicinal salves, etc and I won't have any use for a product like that if it has been returned. Plus, since I make everything personally by myself, I know that the product is and does what I say, so there is no reason for anyone to want to return it unless they are just dishonest. Lol
Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience. So far I have only come across good people who are very friendly and easy to work with. I hope it stays that way. Lol
