The listing, large fairy statue lamp! BNIP! has ended.

measures at 6 inches deep 10 wide and 18 high! This is a nice sized lamp! The fairy base and the shade are both made of quality resin hand painted, very beautiful and nicely detailed! with christmas around the corner, this item makes a very nice gift, and is sure to be loved by whoever gets it! uses a 15 watt e-12 type bulb...I will not be including the bulb....too fragile, and in her box it simply would not fit...she is completely encased in a styrofoam mold that doesnt allow room for the bulb...

I really need this auction to bid out high, considering this fairy cost more than most others I have listed, and at over 4lbs shipping weight, the shipping is going to cost me more too...show your appreciation for my efforts by bidding please!

It's a shame that you're leaving, but I do understand why. Many times I feel the same way. I've been very lucky, not having been scammed myself, but I know many who haven't been as lucky. People DO want you to give things away and I to, am tired of the devaluation of credits. This is a beautiful piece. I'm watching, fanned you and I'm a try my best to win it. I completely agree with you Sir! I too am fed up with Listia's B.S... I have complained many times over the 3 years of being an upstanding member of this site and whenever there is an issue or dispute, they don't even take your 100% positive feedback profile into consideration when making their decisions. The always give you "generic automated responses" to any concerns you may have. They refuse to alter, update, or consider changing their policies. They allow Cyber-Bullying, Harassment, Threats, Defamation, Slander, Stalking, Scammers, and so much more! I have been blocked from commenting on their Facebook page because they don't like when I tell everyone the truth about how badly they treat their "Faithful, Respectable, Upstanding Members". I refuse to share or promote anything from their site on any social media any longer. BTW, you can change your sharing settings to "Only Me" for Facebook and still collect the free credits they offer for sharing.. ;-) I feel your pain brother and know oh too well how it is. I have been screwed out of thousands upon thousands of credits because of Scammers and Dishonest People on this site and Listia will do nothing to reprimand them for their actions, refund their credits even though you may have proof of shipment on your postal receipt with the winners' addresses. I too am fed up with giving things away for free and paying for the items, packaging, and shipping only to have my credits refunded to scammers. I'm not a "Charity" any longer... I set my Auctions to GIN ONLY and the GIN Price Includes All Expenses. If they sell, Great!.. If they don't, Great Too! I can always get my 50 Credit GIN Fee back by watching a video.. No harm done..

Most people wait till the last 10 seconds to bid. That how it goes on all auctions sites. I was watching an Amazon gift card that was at 65,000 credits all week and at the last 20 seconds jumped to over 200,000 credits. It is extremely frustrating when you list such nice expensive items especially with a hefty shipping charge and it's ends so ridiculously low. That's happened to me a quite a few times and I myself no longer list my really nice and or expensive items on this site anymore. When my $30-$40 + valued items that cost me $10-$15 to ship end at way less credits than someone's listing of $5.00 worth of no name makeup from the dollar store with a used makeup bag and $3.50 shipping... I quit! Don't blame ya at all. Hopefully you just have a lot of last second bidders who will swoop in.

Iknow this one is gonna climb, I was mad about a combination of things when I did that update...and was seriously ready to just delete my profile!
I only had 1 item Listed (this lamp) and I wasn't going to just walk away without sending it to the winner, and tying all loose ends lol! I do encounter more honest, friendly and good Listians than riff raff and scallywags, just made the mistake of letting 1 get under my skin because I was rather foward when I told him in a reply to a gin offer email for 15,000 credits for my lamp here, that that offer was offensive, and as an experienced Listian with over a thousand auctions under his belt, he should know better than to lowball someone with my experience level...and that his offer was insulting to my intelligence. If I had no clue what I was doing, I wouldnt be Listing the type of items I list...I started out listing stuff from around my house, and constantly evolved to where I am now...with room to grow! I rely on my listings ending well...I use my credits to get giftcards and those to buy the items I list, but I will snatch up an item quick if I happen upon a great deal that is quality and I think will bid out high. I get more joy out of people going nuts over something I list than I do out of having over 20 million credits to blow on here lol! The best part is the shopping! I constantly rack my brain trying to think of that perfect item to list...the one that weighs little, costs minimum to ship, and brings in a ton of credits! I suppose if I ever told myself I found it...I would get bored after that....

I have had a few bad experiences 2 recently! I just got called a scammer by a woman with 17 negatives after she never sent my item and tried to keep my shipping money! And the other woman wanted me to do a USPS tracking claim because she said that I forgot her apt # even though my Paypal label clearly shows that I put the correct address and USPS tracking shows that it was delivered to her mailbox..... I also understand the frustration with the mail. One morning I was washing dishes and I happened to see the mailman trying to forcefully shove my mail in the box... When I opened my package I had 2 dented bottles!! Of course they took no responibility.... Anyways - I hope that you don't leave... and your statue is awesome!

Sorry you have had bad experiences. Luckily mine have mostly been good but with the devaluing of credits so fast (4000 credits = $5 in April and now 20,000 is $5 if you buy them), I have decided I have to have higher starting bids myself. I use to start at 499 all the time but not anymore. Very nice auction! Sorry to see a great Listian leave.

Wow what a beautiful lamp!! I collect fairies and would love to have this!! I also feel your frustration with the low ball offers and how Listia seems to have really changed especially this past year! I agree some people can be troublesome, but I believe most folks on
Listia are good, honest and upstanding people' It's pretty much the same if you have a yard sale. All kinds show up, I guess. I have traded on here for 4 years and I have 100% positive feedback even though there have been problems. You just need to remain patient, kind and keep a sense of humor, friend. I hope you stay on here.

i: calm cool and collected now folks!had to vent....usps lost a nice statue i bought to list, and have broken 2items in the last 3 weeks that were clearly marked fragile and packaged well...they cost me left and right and dont care at all about customer service...and filing a claim is a joke....you get ignored! makes me very angry!
