We have 2 PSP they do work but on one the door brackets are broken so you need to take the brackets. from the other PSP to hold the movie or game in the machine. Has a case and power cord with one movie

Not sure all he told me was that you could take the brackets from the one and put on the other so you would have 1 good PSP

The battery is on the left side as you are looking at the back. There is a little button to push and then the cover slides right off.

The silver is 2001, the black is a 2001 and the battery cover is missing
