The listing, 1887 Liberty V Nickel - Excellent Details - Read Description has ended.
Before I paste my generic coin listing info, I just wanted to make note that I have no idea what to make of this damn coin. It's got great details, the color-ish of being restored, but the date and words don't look like a restored coins letters and numbers, plus there are some sections around it that make it not perfectly round (which I personally think is awesome), and so I'm not really sure how to adequately describe this thing, and have been on the fence for a while now about even listing it. So, I figured if I mentioned all of this, took some good pics and gave you all the info I have, there shouldn't be any surprises (fingers crossed).
With that being said...
You, the bidder/buyer, need to judge the coin or coins condition for yourself.
If there is a handwritten grade on the coin's holder and/or mentioned in the title, then it's because that was the grade on its previous holder, which I replaced and rewrote what it said. That means I will honor the grading, and should the buyer not agree, they can return it without a problem.
I'll be saying this for every coin auction or sale I ever have on here, until I'm comfortable enough determining it on my own. I also don't have the time required to make individual listing descriptions for all the coins I plan to sell, so this all encompassing one will have to do.
Hopefully, the resolution in the pictures provides the details needed for you to make an informed decision, but if not, or if you have questions please don't hesitate to ask.
I will make it very clear in all my coin listings, if I've done something to enhance their appearance (cleaned, restored, etc). If I don't mention anything in that regard, then you can assume I haven't done anything to it, and it looks exactly like it did when I purchased it.
Thanks, Bill
