Thanks for viewing this listing and (perhaps) entering the comment drawing! I love Listia, and we're having a great time cleaning out the RV by listing great items on here and turning them into gift certificates for yummy food on our adventures.

Who are we? We're a family of 4 (mom, dad, 12 yr old boy, 10 yr old girl...and don't forget Old Cat and Young Cat) on the adventure of a life-time: experiencing America in our RV. We never know where we're going to be, or why, but we're going to have fun (and troubles) along the way. Fan us and check our listings weekly for updates on our journey.

This week we were in Lebanon, TN for an RV get-together called a "Samboree". We were the youngest people there, as typically, rvers tend to be retirees. Well, that certainly didn't stop us! It was Fab 50's theme, and 10 yr old Sara was invited to join in part of the entertainment. They had a skit planned where they would give hula hoops to a bunch of older folks to try to do on stage. Well, Sara was called up to "show them how its done" after they struggled hysterically! Sara is excellent at hooping. We did a video and will put it on youtube tonight. (rvtravelwithkids).

In McMinnville Oregon, there is the evergreen aviation and space museum and waterpark there's also an imax theater out there, you can easily spend an entire day, it's super fun & educational too! http://www.evergreenmuseum.org/

Huntsville AL, Space Museum and austronaut training center tours @ at Red Arsenal were very educational. Loved it,and recommend it. I Live out in Calif, but since your out there, I think the kids will get a WOW out of the Fighter Jet sitting outside in front.

In mid August we have "Sweet Corn Days" The entire town comes together with free sweet corn (grown by a local farmer), a parade which features everything from miniature goats to decorated jeeps. The Rotary has it's infamous chicken BBQ and all of the churches have their special booths which features homemade pies, baked good, etc. What a great weekend we have!!

Love this auction...already a fan! A must do in our neighborhood is walks on a warm day. We live way out in the country, so walking down the road, through fields, and by brooks is what me and the kiddos enjoy!! :)

The must do for families in our area is to visit the library in summer and listen to the authors read their books to children. It is free and fun. Am fanning you now.

From Nov. 1 to Jan. 7 my town, Cambridge, Ohio has the Dickens Victorian Village. It is displayed throughout downtown featuring 40 scenes & 150 figures from Dickens Era scenes. Its pretty neat & educational. Cambridge was selected the best home town 2010 by Ohio magazine. Many things to see in area such as court house light show & a ride on the Byesville Scenic Railway.
