The listing, Not one, but TWO! Vintage Coach purses! Coach Ergo ca. 1998 & vintage rare 1970s Coach made in NYC has ended.
Up for auction are two vintage Coach bags. Yes, you read that right. TWO vintage Coach bags. Both are 100% authentic.
The Coach on the left is a rare one from the 1970s, where the creed says Made in New York City, U.S.A. Coach like this where the creed says it is made in NYC were no longer made after the 1970s. There aren't many of these around anymore. The creed for this purse is shown in photo #2. It has one large main compartment, an outer compartment under the flap, and an inner zippered compartment. Dimensions: 7"H x 10"W x 4"D. Full disclosure: This purse does show some wear on the edges and especially on the strap, where a small tear in the leather is visible near the top of the bag. Purse is also missing original hangtag.
The second purse is a style called Ergo, circa 1998. The creed for this purse is shown in the third photo. Purse has one zippered main compartment, and an inner zippered compartment above the creed patch. Beautiful bag, no wear on the leather. Dimensions: 7"H x 9"W x 1.75"D. Full disclosure: This bag is missing its original hangtag.
I cleaned and polished these purses with my Coach brand leather cleaners, and they both polished up relatively well, particularly the Ergo. Because of the age of the 1970s bag and the wear on the edges, it didn't polish up quite as well as the Ergo, but I made it look as good as possible. Both bags have brass hardware.
I hope these pics are sufficient for auction purposes; I can supply more if absolutely necessary, but I am down to using my phone for pics right now and my plan charges me 3.5 min. PER upload.
Purchased second-hand; no smoke-free, pet-free guarantees.
If you have any additional questions about these bags, feel free to ask. I will answer honestly and accurately.
I welcome and encourage local pickup for those in Indianapolis, IN.
EDIT: Mod says that first bag is from the 80s and that the second bag is from 1999; see comments below. :)
