The Sony PSP 1000 core pack in black is a handheld gaming system. This portable gaming console can be tethered with one or more other units for competitive game play. It uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery and can also be plugged in with an AC adapter for direct power usage. The RAM capacity for this Sony PSP console is 32 GB, and it uses a Wi-Fi connection to play games online and perform other online tasks. It does support a universal media disc as well. The LCD screen for this PSP 1000 is a 480x272 pixel resolution. The dimensions for the PSP console are 6.7 " wide by 2.91 "high by 0.9" deep.The built-in CPU for this portable gaming console runs at a speed of 333 MHz. and it offers a four-way D-pad control system located on each side of the unit. you can find out for sure what model it is by taking off the battery dorr and removing the battery. simple enough. it will say psp-???? hope this helps : )

Okay, here's what it reads under the battery itself, on the game, "Sony PSP-1001 B2" then the Battery itself is a size PSP-110, then on the back of the game is the letters "UMD", Hope that helps Hun, Thanks for looking at My Goodies, Many Blessings...
