The listing, BOLIVIAN RAINBOW pepper seeds (5) has ended.

The picture doesn't do the plant justice but at least I have a couple to show. The plants are small and do well in pots with the peppers turning a beautiful dark eggplant purple. I think they are probably very hot...haven't ate any of these yet either but as I was collecting seeds out of the peppers, the scent of them was very nice but had that ...kind of hotness to it. During summer the plant stood out with the peppers and it took notice along with the fish pepper plant that is also up for auction now (seeds)

how big do these peppers get?

I didn't get these growing outside until late this year and they were in a pot. The largest ones I harvested were close to an inch long but most were around 1/2 inch or less. I believe they grow larger if in ground but am not sure. A quick internet search on these will give you more info. Sorry I couldn't give a better answer.

This may sound like a silly question, but do you harvest the seeds after the peppers change colour?

Never a silly question! You can harvest seeds anytime. I have been successful sprouting them at all stages.
