Up for auction today is a fantastic antique book about the human body: Body Manikin and Position of Vital Organs, copyright in 1914, third edition. It has paper foldouts of the organs in the human body, which are followed by an explanation of those organs. The book was written by Susanna Cocroft who was a prolific author on health and nutrition in the early 1900s.

What is so remarkable about this book is that it's in such good condition. The foldouts are a bit delicate, so often they were torn or otherwise damaged. These paper foldouts are in excellent condition with vibrant color. The spine is cracked in a couple of places, but it doesn't affect the manikin and there are no loose or missing pages.
