The listing, Antique / Vintage Cigarette Case, Matches, Lighter & Papers has ended.
Finishing off most of the items from an estate lot purchase that never seems to end.
These things seem to be in like-new condition (except for matchbox, because it's label is aged). I think the lighter needs whatever piece rubs against the metal wheel to create the spark, but otherwise complete, matches are original, case is metal and papers unused.
If you have questions feel free to ask.
Thanks, Bill
Questions & Comments
could you please post a picture of what is printed on the bottom of the cigarette case? Thanks
I think I had a case just like this one in high school. (late 70s). I loved it! Thought I found one like it a couple months back, but it didn't have the little door on top, you had to take it apart to get a cig, was disappointed to say the least. So glad to see this one, definitely will be battling it out at the bitter end! Great listing!
Probably from late sixties or early seventies, but that case was made for a long time, no way to be certain. The lighter is actually in insert, goes in a number of bodies. Made in Japan in sixties or early 70's. I can use both, the papers and matches are just an extra. I can use the papers as well. oh, keep the matches, mailing them isn't a good idea. I don't know if the postal regs would say no, but don't take the chance, least ways if I win. The lighter insert probably has a corroded flint in the tube, most vintage lighters do. Not a problem for me. I fix that problem on a daily basis on various lighters and inserts. What else in that line might you have?
If I met you eight months ago I could've gotten you a hundred from this hoarder that died and I went through all this stuff the family didn't feel like dealing with. My business partner bought the house on contingency he deal with the attic that had never-ending piles of things. But I didn't snag that many because I had so much stuff so this is it
