Here is a used Eddy Bauer Keychain-Compass-flashlight up for auction. It works but will need new batteries to get flash light to work. There is a compass on the front and a temperature gauge on the back. This is a great little gem to have for any outdoors trip or to keep on your key ring to have light at night going to your car. Have you tried the compass? Some of the small ones can be pretty flaky. But every once in a while I find one that is fairly consistent. Thank you.

I haven't used it really , purchased it several years back for camping at Grand Canyon.
