Included in this lot are 5 stamps. The top one in the picture contains 2 green George Washington 1 cent stamps mailed on Mar. 14, 1949, from Los Angeles, CA. The next one down is a tan Martha Washington 1 1/2 cent stamp mailed on Dec. 12, 1944, from Ennis, TX. The third row contains a John Adams 2 cent stamp mailed on Dec, 17, 1949, from Purdon, TX, and the stamp to its right is a Thomas Jefferson 3 cent stamp, mailed on Mar. 31, 1940, from Littlefield, TX. The bottom stamp is a picture of the Statue of Liberty's hand holding the torch, with the words Security Education Conservation Health above the picture and For Defense below the picture. It is worth 3 cents. It was mailed on Jun. 16, 1942, from Littlefield, TX.
