This makes a wonderful addition to a little girls Barbie collection. I made several different rooms for my daughter when she was younger. I bought some extra thinking i would make some for neices when they came along. To bad all i have are nephews:)

Additional supplies you will need are as follows:
44" wide - 1 yard coordinating fabric
Lightweight fusible fleece 44" wide - 1 yard
Cardboard or foam core 1/4 " thick
Ribbon 1/4" wide - 3 3/4 yards
Polyester fiberfill
Craft weight fusible interfacing
Toilet paper rolls empty 3
Tape
White glue
Thread

These rooms fold and travel well.

is this kind of like a plastic back ground or vinyl material? Could i hang it up as a background?

No this is cotton material. The room is built using the pieces on the material some sewing and some craft work. All of the additional supplies listed are needed.
