hello, and welcome to this terrific listing you see here. what i have is a antique miller kerosene heater that is highly decorated in red white and blue colors. the red,white,blue are 1200 degree high temp paint enamel. i restored it this is how i know for sure. and the chrome color is not, i repeat is not high temp paint. it is again a chrome enamel but not high temp paint. the tank is a brass one. it does have some damage to it. like the handle at one time for the tank was removed, not by me, and someone welded it with something, you can see it in the photos. and also on the tank the screen diffuser which is the screen ring that goes under the top miller named cap inside. again see photo with cap on tank, you can see the screen has damage to the top areas of it. also the chain for the gas cap used to at one time hook to the handle area and since its missing the chain just hangs free. again see photos. it does have a wick in the tank. when i bought this, of course in very rough shape, i did see it lit up when i bought it. but as it does not have a handle and is very old, it is in my opinion that it should not be lit and only used for decoration purposes only! the heater shell itself is in pretty good shape, but it does have a few small dents in it. so small i am not even sure if you can see them in the photos? the paint job is pretty good but again its not 100 percent perfect. i am pretty good painting but i am in no way a proffesional at it. the tank has a functioning gas guage on it. see pictures please. its a wonderful piece for anyones home or buisness. this heater on the outside of course is highly decorated with color, and it has 2 flags on it. these flags are magnet flags. they just stick onto it. theres one flag up front and one flag in the back area of it. and then way down at the bottom front sticker says: look all you want but dont touch! as is and as pictured. any questions just comment on it i will resond asap. have a nice day.

first, thank you :-) i fanned you back!! the story behind them is my daughter and i broke each one down as they came along and we together tried to re-do them.we have several. a few not anything done yet. i have been her father figure for 8 years now and it is something we are pretty good with and enjoy hanging out together working on them and making them shine! or so we think anyways. i listed this one for her and every point i get i am giving to her :-) thanks for the terrific comment and have a great day today.

hello, i would be happy to answer this for you. i just had a tape measure up against it and its height is 24 inches tall, and is 15 1/2 inches wide measured from outside edge of leg to leg. its pretty good sized. anything else please do ask i am here to help the whole way!! :-) thanks for the great question! have a nice day and good luck to you and everyone else as well. :-)

also wanted to add this will ship thru usps with tracking info included. i have sent these several times in the past and they always go by priority mail 2 day shipping. its about the only way you can ship it thru the usps. this cost me 30 dollars just for ship cost. so good luck, any questions please do ask. i will answer anything i can and in a reasonable time frame. :-) thank you in advance for just looking at it and if you bid, thank you as well. :-)

hi folks, depending on interest in this listing for the heater, if it does well i might be listing several other models here on listia. i am not for sure yet. and i have several other models. but as these cost 30 dollars alone to ship and depending on how this one does for points, if it does well i will list the others at about one every few weeks because thats when i get paid and can ship them. and due to cost of shipping i will only be able to afford one every other week just to make sure shipping is covered and on time. so folks if you want fan me and keep looking into my listings. if you dont like these, i also list many other unique items and antiques again once every few weeks and only so much at a time. fan i will fan back!! :-) thanks for everyones interest and good luck to every listian here :-) i am as always available for any questions or comments you may have and i enjoy getting them and answering things i can for folks here at listia. thanks and good luck again :-)

hello folks we are getting down there. i wanted to add a bit of a note i never mentioned before today, and that is that this was made in the usa. if i had a better photo of it, its on the front window peice and it says made in usa on it. sorry i didnt mention it before, but i thought it is relative to the listing also. so good luck and thanks for stopping by today...:-)
