Questions & Comments
I have a huge collection of gemstones..... many different types and colors....... i need help finding out what they are worth...... i even have the jewelers tools as well..... email me at superdave7878@gmail.com Willing to part wifh them when i find out more about them
That's a good idea..I don't know why I didn't think of that, myself! Duh! I'll do that and post it within the next couple of days. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes they put the "P" in pride on every thing they do. They are the most gracious & gentle people. .You need one of their rocking chairs to faint in over the diamond ring bids with one of their hand crafted quilts & pillows..You'd never want to get out :lol..
I don't know. Not my area of expertise. I can compare them to the stones in some if the rings that I have up for auction right now, as to their size. I found a website that I can go to, also. This will take some time tho, so I have to do this later. Right now we are getting ready for a birthday party for my grandson. I will put in updates within a couple days, in my auction. I want to give you a more thoughtful answer but I can't do any research with kids running around! Lol.
You should see the grandfathers clocks they make with all natural materials..My neighbor has a fancier one & she paid 4,000 for it in the 70's..Well worth it. It has the most wonderful chime & keeps perfect time. Oregon is full of unique treasures as I am a california native and loved to go there
I have seen some of the Amish clocks..on that other auction site..but never up close and personal. They are fantastic. The Amish are known for them. I could never afford them..they are works of art really. They take pride in their clocks. I've seen articles on tv also.
I know...I got a beautiful signed small Amish hutch in perfect condition at storage sale..We have a lot of Amish in my area in north wisconsin along with a vintage sewing cabinet with a super secret drawer know one has figured out yet after 10yrs..lol..Keep up the great work :))
These are gorgeous!! Jewelers always charge to certify on paper & that is pricey but your word is good enough and winner with be in gemstone heaven picking out settings for all these.Keep going to those estate sales..lol..
Measure how many millimeters across they are on the top of the stone using a regular ruler. Charts online that will tell you carat weight using millimeter
You're welcome! Yes, not all of us have jewelers tools to get exact measurements lol. But they are really pretty, and that blue topaz alone is worth many more credits than where the bid amount is right now. Your auction should do very well! Good Luck!
