The listing, Atlantic City Sterling Commemorative Spoon has ended.
This is a small sterling silver spoon. It commemorates Atlantic City's incorporation and is highly detailed.
On the top of spoon at end is a seal. Around the seal it says: 'Atlantic City Incorporated March 3 1854'. Below that is a sailboat; then a picture of a ceremony with three people; then below that two seashells and then the words 'Abescon Lighthouse' over a lighthouse that extends to the bowl of the soon.
On the back, on the end is a picture of a man pushing someone in a covered taxi-cart. Below that along the lenth is a picture of the board walk and the words 'Steel pier to Boardwalk'. Then the word 'Sterling' followed by
three hallmarks : a crown, then 'W', then a lion.
The spoon has some discolration and signs of wear but is in good condition.
It is ~41/2 inches long. Weighs 10.95 grams.
