I wish folks would stop saying that the going rate for credits is what Listia is selling them for for $$

The going rate for credits is what the rewards store is getting for gift cards. I get the same msgs you do on items I list. If I can't buy the item for a gift card I get on Listia and make at least a 10% profit then I cannot list it.

So ok this item costs 50$ on Amazon so here would be the breakdown for you to list for points

Cost = 50$
Shipping = 10-12$ w insurance and tracking.
Listia takes 10% of credits from you for using GIN
It costs about 2500 credits to make a listing premium
To buy a 50$ card cost about 500k in credits
10-15% profit margin
So the math looks like this

500k for gift card
+ 100k for shipping
+ 100k for listias cut
+ 2500 for premium
+ 150k for a profit to make it worth it
= a bit over 800k

The math is SIMPLE why are people not getting this????

i do not understand this the going rate for this item is $49.99 on Amazon . and it does not cost $20.00 is too much shipping . 800,000 credits is equal is to $186.04 . that does not seem fair .....

International shipping costs a lot. That value is pretty high for only 800,000 credits. If you got that from Listia's rate from buying credits, then you're not getting the real value of credits. The selling rate shows what credits are actually worth. If this auction isn't fair to you, then move on.
