Description

The listing, old postcard from Russia with picture of the grand duchesses has ended.

This is a postcard dated 6/14/15 (that's 1915! LOL ) from Petrograd.
The back says : Dear Helen, with the picture of the royal family, I am sending you this card, showing the daughters, also a very nice photo & a gem for your collection. Lovingly, Daddy.
There's also a bunch of Cyrillic characters that you'll have to translate yourself :).
There is a small tear on the top left side about a third of the way from the left. You can see it on the back better, it's between the words carte and postale.
This is a nice sepia toned picture and the tear isn't visible much if you mount this in a frame.
Ask questions, I'll try to answer. This us something from my husbands collection and he can't remember where he got it.
Check out my other auctions. DH has started to open the vaults to share with you all.

The edge of the picture is the edge of the postcard, that's why I say you can see the whole card.
