I love writing letters. I have been penpaling on and off since I was a teen to my 30s. Before Facebook. I like Facebook. But kids theses days don't know the fond memories of it. I'm fanning and watching.

This is an interesting post, I was thinking about doing a similar auction but not only for myself but for my 17, 14 and 12 year old as well.. so they can have a friend to snail mail with. awesome idea!!!

A penpal is a friend from somewhere in the world you write letter back and forth and send little gifts.
Snail mail is normal stamp and envelope mail instead of like email or facebook.
