At the Mosque Theatre in Richmond, Virginia this June night in 1956, the agreeable-photogenic Elvis was feeling good. People were talking about his recent Stage Show and Milton Berle Show Appearances. The fans were coming out the to his live performances in ever-increasing numbers. And the next night, he was due to earn even more fame on the coast-to-coast Steve Allen Show. So when Wertheimer snapped a shot of Elvis grooming for that evening's show, he was also capturing Elvis Grooming himself for major successes to come.
