I am not giving this camera away. too much negativity towards me, and i am doing a favor by giving a basically brand new camera away for free, all you have to do is pay for shipping which is $26 bucks. there is nothing wrong with this at all.

Forgot to mention that the PDF file can be e-mailed from the winner to you so you can print it.

As far as the shipping goes, if the winner uses his/her paypal account on the USPS website, they get a PDF file to download. That download is the shipping label (postage pre-paid). All you would need to do is print, tape it to the box, and deliver it to the post office. As long as the label is securely attached, you could even have the mail man pick it up. The box would be free,, but you would need to inform the winner of the size (a camera will easily fit in a $5 prepaid box with lots of room for newspaper or other padding. Don't get too frustrated over this.
If you use the prepaid method I explained above, the winner has the option of tracking or insurance with no cost to you, and the label is only good for shipping the box from you to the winner. I think it's the safest way to go for both parties.

You may only charge for:

Actual shipping cost (exact amount, including sales tax or govt. fees charged by the shipping company)
Handling cost (packaging, materials, insurance, etc.)
Delivery confirmation and extra services (tracking, signature, etc.)
In addition, we are imposing maximum shipping & handling charges for the following items to prevent overcharging:

Maximum Shipping & Handling Costs* for select items (listed on or after 5/23/2011):

DVDs, CDs, VHS, Cassettes, Vinyl
Maximum Domestic Standard Shipping: $3
Books
Maximum Domestic Standard Shipping: $4
Video Games, Software, Computer Games
Maximum Domestic Standard Shipping: $4
Jewelry
Maximum Domestic Standard Shipping: $6
* you may only charge more than the listed amount if your exact shipping cost is actually higher and can be verified via weight/dimensions etc.

We encourage users to offer Free Shipping whenever possible or simply to charge exact shipping costs, but we do understand that there may be packaging costs, insurance etc. involved so we know that flat rate shipping is often easier for everyone involved.

Those people arent being mean, it's just that you can get a flat rate box, for free, and put the camera in ..... it would cost about 4.95 and another 70 cents for delivery confirmation. there is no need to send this any other way, there are people who scam for shipping charges, and with you being new I am sure you wouldnt know about it. Listia also puts limits on thier shipping charges, No one is trying to be mean or make you quit listia, you just have to learn the ropes like the rest of us did. It is always a good idea to listen to what seasoned listians have to say, because they know how this works. If you go into the rules link it will tell you about shipping rules... have a good auction, and you will get it...... keep learning and I hope you stay with us, it truly can get addicting and the good people clearly outweigh the bad ones......... Good Luck

Just so you know flat rate boxes are free, you only pay to ship it which the buyer would be paying.

I am sorry I am closing the bid. You will deff. get your credits back. I am new to listia also and I dont understand any of this at all so I am not shipping any of my things out. I will not pay for packaging and shipping. My items are in wicked good condition and they are being put on here for free, so I do not know why that lady was giving me such a hard time. I am sorry but I am not doing it.

Hey wait. you said you're closing you auction so does this mean I have to lose my credits to you? I don't think that those girls were trying to be mean I think they were trying to understand where you were coming from, I was a bit confused too, I still kind of am-my son had me get an account here so I'm new and I'm still trying to learn the ropes, just because someone is new and asks questions doesn't mean that their being mean or rude, it's just like me, I'm new here and I still have alot to learn. The directions keep telling me to add friends and post things to my facebook, I didn't even no what facebook was until I asked my son. But I guess I shouldn't have let you a comment because you'll probably think I'm mean too just like the other girls. BUT you must know that NOT everyone on here is mean some of us are new and just don't know whats going on yet- you were new here once upon a time also.

Watching and bidding. I like this but I'm new here and I read the rules and it doesn't say I have to pay for packing just shipping, I was wondering why you would charge that other girl that's winning packing charges..I hope I win it but I'm just going to pay for shipping like the listia rules say (only if I win anyway-LOL). The post office would only charge about $7.00 for this to be shipped anywhere in the US, I'm not being rude so please don't think that, I'm just cerious why you would charge so much, it wouldn't be free then if your charging that much and you don't need to put insurance on it because that would be up to us if we wanted it not you

I am not scamming anyone here. I went to the posal place 2 days ago with my cameras and was told to ask for $26.00 to be safe. This camera is free, you are just paying for shipping so I do not understand why you are beinbg so rude. I do not get what all the fuss is about. I can't stand rude people.

So today I am going to the postal place to find out how much shipping is. I will also find out if the moneyorder can be made out to the postal place. That will make everything so much easier for us both! I will be back later to let you know :)

If you want a charger you can purchase one. It takes two AAA batteries, and lasts maybe an hour. And I think it stores about 10, maybe 20 photos without memory card. I would deff. purchase a memory card. I am not too sure about shipping, I have another camera I also have to find out about. I am pretty new at Listia so bare with me! I also only take moneyorders, I cannot setup a paypal account. Shipping shouldn't be too much cus its not heavy or big!
