it works while it is plugged in but stops working as soon as you unplug it.. not sure if it is a battery problem or if it is something else but if someone would like it for free to try and fix it you are welcome to bid away... i do not have a charger sense i gave that way with a different auction sorry... happy bidding :)

try to plug it into your pc and format it. if it does anything its fixed and if not you were going to have to reset it before it shipped anyway. hope that helps.

To answer the last question- if you're referring to the iphone charger that comes with it, then yes, that's a charger for all ipod products.

It is the battery, I washed mine in the washer and thats what heppened to mine. It is either water damage or the battery went poof! If you know how to change on, you can get a battery for like $5 off ebay. :)

please everyone understand and stop asking questions that have already been answered.. i do not want to fix the ipod it comes as is i get free broken ipods and i just dont want to work on these ones.. so if you would like to play with it that is up to you.. but i dont have itunes im not replacing the battery and its coming as is if you do not like that then please do not bid on my items thank you

The battery that cheerleadingghabe3863 is refering to in ebay does not work! I have 3 of them. Better to buy the real stuff to make sure that it works. The real battery is $30 but it works for sure....
