The listing, NY Stock Transfer Tax stamp - #ST152 $1 has ended.
State of New York
Stock Transfer Tax (Revenue) stamp from the 1930's
Catalog: These stamps are listed in the "State Revenue
Society" catalog, the catalog number is showing in the
lot title.
Condition: Used.
Please note: Revenue stamps such as this will have
various perforated initials/dates punched in them, as well
other markings when they were applied to a document.
Centering is usually poor (these were workhorse revenue
stamps) .
Perforations may also be missing in areas since the extra
perforated initials caused damage when the stamps were
originally separated from sheets.
Revenue stamps in general are not going to be in as
good a condition as postage stamps. While there are no
thins in the paper, there may be some gum left and
possibly remnants of the document that they were
originally attached to.
--> I needed to state the above as I do not want
complaints about the condition.
Since I have many copies of this stamp, what you see
is simply representative of the particular denomination
of the stamp that you will get (as I really don't feel like
scanning everyone of these...).
Free shipping within USA, $1.50 postage everywhere else (PayPal accepted).
I always use nice stamps as postage!
