This last one does NOT have the cover band (outside wrapper that says "Windhorse..."), only the flags that were inside are part of this LAST AUCTION for these garlands...

Handmade in Nepal. Originally labeled as "Windhorse Prayer Flag Garland" on outside wrapper (this last one that wrapper is not included).

These are very small “Buddhist” prayer flags — something you might put on a small Christmas Tree or have hanging over a lamp shade, down your inside car mirror, across a window, as an accent.

They are made of a felt like material, I would think not really intended to be outside in the elements, at least not for very long if you want them to last. (Of course that is impermanence!)

Each “flag” is bout 2 1/2” by 2 1/2” square, & it comes folded up in that size of a square — unfolded it runs about 35” in length from one end of the string to the other end.

There are five different colored flags that run the length of the string.

I think the color of the 4th flag from the left is somewhat greener to my eye than the green blue the color shows when rendered out of the digital camera; it was shot in full sunlight maybe that looked different to the camera at the time than to my eye taking in all the colors around..

These are fun, and I don’t see them very often around, and hope you will enjoy!

Never used, except to open to photograph for the others listed over several months — kept and now ready for a new home to be actually used & appreciated. Or makes a fine little gift.
