The listing, Compaq Presario F700 laptop, works perfectly (battery even holds a charge), with charger has ended.

I found this laptop I don't use anymore in the basement and thought I should reset it and put it on Listia. I have reset it back to out of the box setting. Its got a 120 gB hard drive and is running windows vista. Wifi, mouse keyboard all seem to work perfectly. Most surprisingly the battery still holds a charge as well. I charged it up and then installed firefox, and ran youtube videos for a total combined usage of 2 hours 15 minutes. This would make a great device to have connected to a TV to use for web usage.

You have to connect this to a computer to use to connect to the internet?You can't use it like a reg laptop with WiFi?

Yep, Wifi works. Tested it with You tube.

Great! My laptop is down and this desktop is ready to go anytime now so I really need a different one but it will cost me all I have now if not more so really need to make sure I get something that works fine with no problems because I can't afford a new one for quite awhile.What window version is on this? Thanks
