These are my very first try at planting Morning Glories from seed and I couldn't believe how beautifully they grew!! The leaves are very large and the flowers are a mix of dark purple, white and light purple. The 1st 5 photos are the Hybrids and the last 2 are the others I planted. They have a mixture of light purple & white blooms. The pods from these two varieties are so abundant, I don't know where I'll plant them next spring!! Luckily our backyard has two long wooden fences on each side for privacy and I'm sure these will cover them both!! Each pod has at least 4 seeds in each. I just started to 'harvest' them a couple of weeks ago so everyday I am getting more & more. Of course, I won't have to plant more in the front anymore, as these self seed (I won't be able to pick all of the pods I'm sure) !
