Oh my gosh, our home has ALWAYS been the neighborhood 'Hangout'. Kids just migrated there..and like you said, if a kid was late or they didn't know where they were they would call me and say "Can you send so and so home Now!?" LOL But I love it, I love kids & would rather be around kids, than most adults that I know haha. So for me, it was...the more, the merrier...and I ALWAYS knew where MY kids were, and that they were safe, no worries. :)

I know that's how I was. We weren't allowed to have friends over when I was a kid & my mom was horrible which had a lot to do with why I tried to be a good mom & I guess I was since all the kids preferred my house:) Most of the parents didn't have phones(it was a poor rural community) so they had to actually come check lol. Once a drug dealer came over after I was there by myself looking for his son & 10 minutes after he left, the sheriff(a close friend) pulled in to see if I was ok lol. Gotta love it when you're 7 miles out of town on a dead end road & the only house there & the sheriff still knew:) And yeah I always knew where my kids were & was so thankful for that:) The teen girls who stayed on Saturday nights LOVED my closet because I wouldn't let them wear pants or shorts to church(like some parents did) so they always got to raid my closet Sunday mornings lol. When I cleaned out my closet one of the girls usually took everything which her mom loved. Like I said, I miss that place. Some of them still stay in touch but it's hard because we're so far apart. Thank goodness for the internet. I have to go. I enjoyed talking to you. Have a blessed evening & night:)

How big a town is Paragould? My second family who I spent more time with than I did my actual family, as a kid, moved from CA to AR....first to Paragould, and then to Fouke. Several of them are still in Fouke, I'm not sure about Paragould, though. Does everyone know everyone there?

Good! I'm in northeast Arkansas & Fouke is in Southwest which means we're about as far apart as you can get in AR lol. I've spent most of my life in northeast AR but lived in central northern AR a few years & I MUCH prefer it there & can't wait to be able to get back:) Do you know somebody in Fouke?

this is only the 2nd place i have seen these!! When i was going back n forth to the hospital in Charleston S.C.to see my cousin they had these in the gift shop, I Bought a hand full of each..lol, When i gave a few to my family members they looked at me like R U INSANE? walking around with needles..LOL, then they realized they were actually Pins. The little Pill pins are cool too, I still have i a few of the green syringe pens to this day. Nice auction!

I know. It STILL amazes me how high bids go on this which is why I try to list many with GINs:) And I'm sure I get them a lot cheaper than you did at the gift shop because I order from overseas. Sometimes I have to wait 4-8 weeks for my orders to get here so my winners never have to wait for theirs, as some sellers do things from overseas on here. And everybody loves them so much!! I was a nurse so I jumped on the capsules & syringes then I found all the others. Thanks for dropping in! Have a blessed evening & night:)

wow if i knew these went for so much on here i would have bought more long ago and put them up, ill start going to the Hospital Giftshop just to buy some to list on here, i just looked at the recent Bid and had to look twice..lol, their not far from me at all.. The Pins are for sure a HIT!
