This listing is for over 5 pounds worth of 100% Cascade Peruvian Wool Yarn! Great yarn in beautiful colors!

I purchased this yarn from an absolutely awesome seller on Listia...and then realized I have so much yarn I will never be able to use it all in my lifetime! So, I decided to share it with some lucky Listian. :-)

- Everything shown in the photos is included in this listing
- Yarn was stored in a large plastic bin in a smoke-free cat-friendly home (It came from a smoke-free home too.)

-- Teal (2): 3.85 & 4.15 (these look like the same color to me)

-- Lighter Brown (2): 3.90 & 4.10 )these look like the same color to me)

Is the yarn soft or scratchy? This is a great auction!

I checked the yarn and some of it seems softer to me: for instance, the teal seems softer than the brown. (The brown seems to be wrapped a bit firmer than the teal.) I used some of the green for a crocheted then felted teddy bear and it was even softer after it was felted. (It felted wonderfully.) All of it seems like quality yarn and the colors are wonderful. (Dang -- I wish I didn't put it up for auction! I really do have too much yarn though...if that is even possible! ;- )

What size knitting needle would you use with this yarn? It sometimes says on package.New knitter

I'm really not sure -- I'm more of a crocheter. I believe this is worsted weight and from what I read online that would be a size 4 yarn (medium weight) and the recommended needle size is a 7-8.
