Description

The listing, 2006 Topps Heritage AARON RODGERS (Packers) 2nd Year SHORT PRINT has ended.

This is a 2006 Topps Heritage AARON RODGERS football card.
This card was short printed.

Rodgers was an unlikely 1st round pick in 2005, going to a Green Bay Packers team which had Brett "I Don't Miss Starts" Favre as their starter. It would be three seasons before Rodgers would get a fair shake, when Favre announced his (temporary) retirement; Rodgers responded by becoming one of the best QBs in NFL history, just as effective as the legendary favre. Rodgers won MVP Awards in 2011 and 2014, and as of the time of this posting has a 106.5 career passer rating,241 career touchdown passes (as compared to only 59 INTs), over 30,000 yards passing, and is a 4-time All Pro. This guy is knocking on the door to Canton, and they'll likely be opening that door for him.

Is it a auto ?

No. It's design matches that of 1952 Topps Baseball, and much alike the '52s it has a facsimile (printed) signature which appears on every printed card. I'm sure you've seen plenty of Topps sets which do this, like 1967 Topps and 2007 Topps baseball (as well as plenty of Listians who will list facsimile autographs as if they're real, lol!)
Honestly, I'd be a fool to unload a Rodgers auto for this price.
On the plus side, it is a short-printed second year Rodgers card, and one I'm sure a few Packers fans need for their collections.
