Description

The listing, Fire Opal Gemstone Ring has ended.

Genuine 10k fire opal ring, surrounded by 12 blue zircon stones in a beautiful vintage setting. This ring, I believe, is a size 6 - and since I have gained weight over the years, I can no longer wear it and don't desire to get it sized. This ring CAN be sized, but should never be sized up or down no more than one size - as it can affect the stones in the setting. I offer this ring as a celebration of my recent seller wings. Good luck to those who bid! This ring is gorgeous!! Also, winner pays exact shipping, which will include confirmation delivery.

Hi, This is a white opal. A fire opal is very orange throughout. I prefer white opals myself and the better they are the more colors they contain but all white opals contain at least some different colors, though that doesn't mean they are anything but a white opal. A white opal with no interior colors would be just junk, of no value at all. A fire opal is very different from a white opal. It is solid orange, though transparent, not opaque. Take a look at fire opals at jtv or QVC or HSN and you will see what I mean.

Still watching this and am wondering if you have come to a decision regarding shipping to Canada :) I recommend USPS First Class which is reliable and cheap (if a little slow sometimes) or Priority which would be about $12-$13 with delivery confirmation (a bit much to pay for shipping but I'd still do some bidding just not as high :))

P.S. The term cubic zirconia, or better known as CZ, is artificial, not even lab-created, and came from the word zircon, which IS an actual gemstone, so this ring is real throughout and very pretty. I wish I had the credits to bid!

I'm sure I'm being annoying but you can get delivery confirmation to Canada. I think it's $12 (total) to ship with tracking and delivery conf. (I got a ring shipped off ebay for that price and it has tracking). I totally understand if you don't want to but I had to try :) :)

If I might put my 2cents in here, this being a valuable item, I would highly recommend that whomever wins this ring, you might want to add insurance. It is always better to be safe than sorry. It is worth the security to know that your item will arrive safely. Also, priority shipping may cost a little more but it is definitely worth the cost when shipping something like this. It arrives within 2 or 3 days and with delivery confirmation it is just a little under $6.00 throughout the US. Something like $5.80.Otherwise you are looking at sending the ring in a simple envelope that can rip and the ring is lost forever. The priority envelopes are treated much differently and shipped faster. Just sayin..... It is all up to the winner bit if it were me, that is what I would do. I have given away several pieces of jewelry on this site and I know what I am talking about. I paid the shipping on them. Be wise.

This is a fiery opal, it has different colors as the light hits it. It's important to keep it oiled so it doesn't crack, I was told to rub the ring on the side of my nose every so often to keep it soft. I had a ring just like this one, it's my birthstone. I bought it in Alaska with my first paycheck from my very first job. I pawned it about 20 years ago in Indiana and lost it. Wouldn't it be funny if this was it? Mine had diamonds around it and they were a bluish color.

WOW, that's some story....blue diamonds you say? Wish I truly knew what the blue stones were...It IS an awesome ring to say the least, just wish I was a jeweler!
