The listing, 1930's PINCONE GNOME has ended.
While the Elf on the Shelf is currently all the rage, these little guys are the original gnomes conjured up by the folks from Japan. The faces are always a great giveaway as to their origin. They look wonderful in a Christmas village table scape hiding among those fabulous paper houses from the 40's and the bottle brush trees. This sweet little fellow is carrying a gift wrapped just for you.All Listia rules apply.
This is one of the highly collectible pinecone gnomes.the e dropped off the banner in the listing.it is made of a small pine cone with a composite molded face attachec to what i guess is a cottonhead foundation.pipe cleaner style arms and green flocked paper for the hat.don't know about the beard.please excuse the caps my keyboard is having issues:)that's about all i can describe with the little guy.thank you for your interest,i appreciate it.sheila
I'm sorry,I don't know how to answer that. The little guy is about 85 years old and was not made to last. But he has.I'm sure there are some who would find flaws in him,I do not.He is as the pictures show and he is for those that cherish all the things of Christmas' past.Thank you for your interest, sorry I couldn't be more help.go safely sheila
