Well since I have one also, it fits good! My sister also loves hers! It fits a 46dd. (But I wouldn't have believed it when I first saw the bra). Its very stretchy. It pretty much conforms to various shapes & sizes to a degree. It would most likely be too large on a 40c to give you a general comparison...
