The listing, Training Collar for Dogs has ended.

18" Chrome plated prong training collar for dogs. I just replaced this one for a smaller gauged one the trainer recommended today. These are $30.00 new and there are 2 extra extender/prongs with it. In EUC to like new. Only used a handful of times before replacing.

After the auction ends I will mail the dog collar within 3 days with tracking. Weekends and holidays excluded. I only ship in the U.S. Sorry, no exceptions.

Smoke-free, Dog friendly home.

I don't mean to sound dumb, but this looks extremely painful! Is it actually safe to use on a dog? :( I would feel like I was really hurting my dog.

They are not sharp, and it is circular, the spikes go to the side. It's similar to a choke chain, but those can actually kink and lock up, strangling your dog. There are no marks left by it, and Elliot (my dog), comes running and sits without being told to have it put on for his walks. It can't be too traumatic. It only tightens if the dog pulls. I give a little tug and remind him to stay loose leash every once in awhile, but he caught on in 3 lessons. He's 70 pounds of muscle, and I'm disabled. It was a life saver. He gets a lot more walks because of it.

Thank you for explaining it! I understand a lot better how it would be used. :)
