The listing, Bank Token One Penny 1837 - Province Du Bas Canada Deux Sous City Bank On Ribbon has ended.
Wow was this one difficult to identify!! It is totally smooth, and i could only see the design by tilting it in the light holding a magnifying glass over it as well. The design is actually really pretty...3 quarters have botanicals and the symbol at the bottom is a beaver. The back is of a man, standing. I can't read anything on it.
I don't know if this coin is useful to anyone...but i sure am relieved that i finally Identified it!!

Wow, Thank you Kevin! I just want to be sure that you know than it is very smooth and it;s difficult to see the design. I love that they used the botanicals..and the beaver is great!! I read a little about the coin, and it said that one of the years was rare and valuable (i don't remember which). I couldn't for sure say that this one is 1837...as close as i could see, i think so! Maybe your eyes are better than mine Kevin!! xx Janet
