That is really a nice question..

The 4 little anti-slip feet are silicon, made by 3M, attached to each of the stands many days before they are listed and sold -- by me :). That gives those feet time to attach securely and bond to their positions to keep put.

The main body is polypropylene, which has resistance to breaking if bended (like normal flexing it open and closed) and has resistance to heat; is commonly used for things like reusable containers, plastic chairs, food containers that will withstand washing in the dishwasher, "living hinges" on flip top bottles... PP (polypropylene) has been around since 1951. Companies like Rubbermaid produce materials manufactured with PP.

One thing I don't point out about the stand is that when it is closed -- you can press at the very top (forward view) on the straight edge and it will then pull right open to fold. When you close it -- it snaps, it does not just close it snaps tight -- and that is where a material like PP really comes to task to keep working consistently thru many closings and openings of the stand.

When I do the listings I often run out of word allowance -- I try to put what I hope are the top highlights -- but this is also an important difference between this stand and many others that are thin plastic, or rigid and will tend to break compared to this stand on my listing/s. Thanks! Mike
