This is a gently used, beautiful edition of The Stand by Stephen King. For those of you not familiar with this story, the synopsis follows.

Synopsis:

"One man escapes from a biological weapon facility after an accident, carrying with him the deadly virus known as Captain Tripps, a rapidly mutating flu that - in the ensuing weeks - wipes out most of the world's population. In the aftermath, survivors choose between following an elderly black woman to Boulder or the dark man, Randall Flagg, who has set up his command post in Las Vegas. The two factions prepare for a confrontation between the forces of good and evil."

My books do come from a smoker's home, but they are stored in our bedroom where we do not smoke. Also, this is a cat friendly home, but my cat's have never been a fan of Stephen King and have never read this book. :) I ship within 7 days of the end of auction. If you send me your shipping info the day of the auction, I try my best to ship the next day. I ship media mail with delivery confirmation. I send the delivery confirmation as soon as I ship so you can track your package. I also recycle packing. Packing is 1/3 of the cost of shipping, so if I can recycle a box or a bubble mailer, I will! You might get your package in a completely reconstructed box, but I make sure they are well sealed....just ask anyone who has gotten a book from me already. :)
