This is a gently used, beautiful edition of The Shining Stephen King. For those of you not familiar with this story, the synopsis follows.

Synopsis:

Jack Torrance, his wife Wendy, and their young son Danny move into the Overlook Hotel, where Jack has been hired as the winter caretaker. Cut off from civilization for months, Jack hopes to battle alcoholism and uncontrolled rage while writing a play. Evil forces residing in the Overlook – which has a long and violent history – covet young Danny for his precognitive powers and exploit Jack’s weaknesses to try to claim the boy.

My books do come from a smoker's home, but they are stored in our bedroom where we do not smoke. Also, this is a cat friendly home, but my cat's have never been a fan of Stephen King and have never read this book. :) I ship within 7 days of the end of auction. If you send me your shipping info the day of the auction, I try my best to ship the next day. I ship media mail with delivery confirmation. I send the delivery confirmation as soon as I ship so you can track your package. I also recycle packing. Packing is 1/3 of the cost of shipping, so if I can recycle a box or a bubble mailer, I will!
