This is a gently used, beautiful edition of Gerald’s Game by Stephen King. For those of you not familiar with this story, the synopsis follows.

Synopsis:

Gerald and Jessie Burlingame have gone to their summer home on a warm weekday in October for a romantic interlude. After being handcuffed to her bedposts, Jessie tires of her husband's games, but when Gerald refuses to stop she lashes out at him with deadly consequences. Still handcuffed, she is trapped and alone. Painful memories from her childhood bedevil her. Her only company is a hungry stray dog and the sundry voices that populate her mind. As night comes, she is unsure whether it is her imagination or if she has another companion: someone watching her from the corner of her dark bedroom.

My books do come from a smoker's home, but they are stored in our bedroom where we do not smoke. Also, this is a cat friendly home, but my cat's have never been a fan of Stephen King and have never read this book. :) I ship within 7 days of the end of auction. If you send me your shipping info the day of the auction, I try my best to ship the next day. I ship media mail with delivery confirmation. I send the delivery confirmation as soon as I ship so you can track your package. I also recycle packing. Packing is 1/3 of the cost of shipping, so if I can recycle a box or a bubble mailer, I will! You might get your package in a completely reconstructed box, but I make sure they are well sealed....just ask anyone who has gotten a book from me already. :)
