This is a gently used, beautiful edition of Firestarter by Stephen King. For those of you not familiar with this story, the synopsis follows.

Synopsis:

The Department of Scientific Intelligence (aka "The Shop") never anticipated that two participants in their research program would marry and have a child. Charlie McGee inherited pyrokinetic powers from her parents, who had been given a low-grade hallucinogen called "Lot Six" while at college. Now the government is trying to capture young Charlie and harness her powerful firestarting skills as a weapon.

My books do come from a smoker's home, but they are stored in our bedroom where we do not smoke. Also, this is a cat friendly home, but my cats have never been a fan of Stephen King and have never read this book. :) I ship within 7 days of the end of auction. If you send me your shipping info the day of the auction, I try my best to ship the next day. I ship media mail with delivery confirmation. I send the delivery confirmation as soon as I ship so you can track your package. I also recycle packing. Packing is 1/3 of the cost of shipping, so if I can recycle a box or a bubble mailer, I will! You might get your package in a completely reconstructed box, but I make sure they are well sealed....just ask anyone who has gotten a book from me already. :)
