Description

The listing, 90 Miles, 6 Rocks, A Necklace And "Thunder" In Nevada!!! has ended.

Well Wendover Nevada was full of wild and crazy women again! "The Thunder From Down Under" danced and puts on one great sold out show every year at the concert hall at the casinos!
On the drive back to Ut we stopped at some of my fav desert rock hounding spots and looky at what I brought you!

I saw lots of shine on the mountainside so headed to it! The first thing I picked up was the broken chunk of purple Druzy, so I grabbed it! I kept looking all over and saw something I am not sure of. It's either super old cartilage, bone, and/or old old hard as rock, reptile skin. It's way cool so I grabbed it! From there I saw this gorgeous few hunks of raw/rough combination Malachite/Azurite and grabbed all I could! Out looking for around 2 hours I saw this brightshine...so I got to a beautiful few pieces of purple druzy covered quartz crystals!

Heading back to my car I was kicking rocks and kicked up this pretty bunch of sandstone and thien a small Thunderegg I cut in half at home! It definitely did Thunder Down under in NV that day!!!! So I threw in the necklace I bought to wear to the show, and there is all of the good luck pieces that I got on the way home! PLUS I brought back 2500 playing Black Jack!!!!! (but that's not part of the auction) lol!

So you get at least 6 rocks, maybe 2 of each, I'll have to go through them, and the Necklace worn to the show!!!!! I'll ship pack, track and ins it ALL FOR FREE TO YOU!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK AND THANKS... NO CHANGES PLEASE.

Just enjoy them, and think like a rock.... it may be not so hot looking on the outside, it's what's inside that counts and that's what make things beautiful!

Sounds like a heck of a trip! And quite a mineral haul as a bonus! Love the 'Fossil?', and the Malachite/Azurite is striking...I have a similar chunk, though not as fully one thing as yours, mine has outcrops appearing on a larger chunk of matrix! Thank you for a superlative auction! You sacrifice your beautiful keepsakes that we might bring a bit of the Mothers' beautiful bounty into our own homes! Thank you!!

Heh, Heh, Heh! I know the feeling, makes one flash back to Pigpen and his dusty cloud every time you take a step! Time for Plenty of Hot Luxurious water to loosen up those cramping muscles, lol! Happy Hunting if you have time for more! You've quite obviously been gifted with the Sight to be so successful in finding the hidden treasures that the Earth offers to those of us who can appreciate them! You're lucky to have such an environment to hunt in, I live in a huge sandbox for as deep as you can dig, here in Central Texas...they tell us that this whole area was beneath a shallow semi-tropical sea, and it's easy to believe given 'soil' that is pure beach sand, lol! Be well!

Ha, yeah, but when your sea dried up it left behind wicked cool rocks and minerals, and when mine dried up I get lots of product for putting in bags for floods, lol!! Is that copper there by the sharkstooth? And I love the Sunstone, the Aragonite and the Desert Flower Selenite! What's the piece (rusty colored w/ a couple of worms on top) that's posing with the Desert rose and the aragonite? All together, a very nice haul for an afternoon spent kikkin' rocks with your hushpuppies!! Does that make them 'Rock Puppies'? You know...Rock hounds...puppies...?

I have massive hunks of salt that is in that water right now! It's an amazing place, if you ever have a few moments check out the History of the Great Salt Lake, it was beautiful, had a huge dance hall, carousels, and so many people "floating" in the salt water, you could barely see the water! That is how salty it is, you can't sink!!!!! It hurts like hello to get in your eyes, and they had showers to wash it all off when you got out! So sad, big fire killed a lot of people and ruined the place, now it is a massive stinky brine shrimp salty body of water...some still go sailing but it's kind of just sitting there wishing someone would make her beautiful again.
I have no clue as to how a sharks tooth got out there, probably the same people that I cleaned up their beer bottles. Yup that's a not so wonderful piece of aragonite, which is funny cuz that is what the little town I pull out off if is called! Aragonite population maybe 100??? lol!!
Namaste :)

We have a ton of fossills and Malachite/Azurite!!! I have one place I go to that you need to buy a permit for (thank God I am friends with them and it costs me very little) but you drive back onto the property a bit and all you see (and step on) is Malachite!

Not necessarily beerbottle guy, Native peoples were trading for them, and utilizing them for centuries before beer guy came around, lol!
