The listing, *VINTAGE CAMEO LACE BLOUSE* UNIQUE! Beautiful! MUST READ!!!! Craft, upcycle? has ended.

This unique vintage blouse has a GORGEOUS cameo made of lace sewn into it. This blouse is old & while it's supposed to be white, you can see the age of the blouse - as it has a yellowish antique tint on the shoulders/arms. However, the LACE & the CAMEO made out of lace are white & are not stained or damaged! I was thinking maybe a crafter/sew/knit/crochet could cut the lace part with the Cameo on it out & use it to make a new blouse or fix up a old one? It's just TOO GORGEOUS & UNIQUE to toss out!
View all the photos, I tried to take pictures at different angles to show the yellow tint
*Please note that I have NOT tried to bleach this. With bleach, or vinegar -that yellow may actually come out- I honestly don't know. I did not want to bleach it & ruin it with my uncanny ability to shrink, bleach & dye anything I wash- lol- so I will leave that up to the winner to do!
This has been hanging in my grandmother's closet for a VERY long time. I do not know how long, but I know it's been there for as long as I can remember. Dont know if she BOUGHT IT or MADE IT or even purchased it at a vintage boutique 20 years ago, who knows! I think the YELLOW tint on it is caused from years of hanging in the closet. HOWEVER the yellowish color, actually gives it more of a antique look!
There is no TAG so no SIZE. I'm guessing a SMALL or maybe a MEDIUM just by looking at it.
The neck comes up just slightly in lace & one button seals the back.
There is a small hole/tear in the back, see pic. It's not too noticeable.
* I would not sell this to Wear, Unless you like antique looking clothes. But I figured someone could use this GORGEOUS CAMEO LACE to repurpose & upcycle another piece! Or use it in your sewing, as some people make baby clothes, and doll clothes, blankets, or clothes & other things.
THE DETAIL IN THE LACE CAMEO IS BEAUTIFUL! MY CAMERA DOESNT CAPTURE THE SMALL DETAILS, BUT SHES A FULL CAMEO, HAIR, EYES AND ALL! BEAUTIFUL!

Also including this long piece of lace, that my gram had With the blouse. It's just a long strand of lace, I believe she used it as a shaw it's about 68" long, 11" wide, like a scarf. Maybe you can use it with the lace cameo to make a new modern piece of fashion!

Nice auction. Question. Can the cameo be easily removed without damaging the lace on the blouse? Fanned and watching.

Let me check - Great question! Come back in a little bit and check, I'll comment below.
You want to know if the laced Cameo can be removed from the lace without damaging the lace or the blouse... or are u asking is there a way of removing the laced cameo without messing up the Cameo itself..

Ok I checked. And im pretty sure you CAN remove the Laced cameo without damaging the lace on the blouse. You'll have to have a steady hand and tiny scissors or a tiny knife to cut the seams, but the laced cameo looks to be a separate piece, stitched /sewn ONTO the lace Of the blouse. The stitches are white- so you'll have to be careful not to cut the lace too- bc it blends in well. But if you take the time and examine the inside of the shirt- you'll be able to tell te difference in what stitches are holding the laced cameo on- and what's lace. If I could I'd take a pic, but I doubt my camera will pick up that detail. Ill try tomorrow tho. But- to answer your question- yes. You should be able to remove the lace cameo from the shirt without messing up the blouse -or the cameo. The cameo looks to be a complete separate piece, that was seen ontop of the lace, so neither the shirt or cameo will be Messed up if you just remove the stitches holding the cameo on. :)
