OK FORGIVE ME ASKING ANOTHER QUESTION But im again i say not computer literate , is this computer one that im able to get its own computer ccess , i mean without having router to connect to,the way i can get internet for a phone can i get internet for this tablet , my friend mother who needs this doesnt already have in ternet and she needs a laptop / tablet she can get internet on without having to hook into other peoples connections , She needs to get her own internet plan for her own device ,this one if it's do able ? ? ? thanks again for your time & patience =)

Windows CE was originally released 19 years ago, in 1996, and was concurrent with Windows 95. Since then, CE made it from Version 1, to Version 7, and was last updated in 2013, basically making it an abandoned operating system. Regular Windows, since 1996 had MANY updates and revisions: 98, 98SE, ME, NT, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, RT and 10.

Since Windows CE was designed to be Embedded, not installed, in specific use devices without a lot of computing power, and NOT a general purpose computer, Windows CE CANNOT run normal Windows programs. This also means that it can't be updated, because it wasn't designed to.

Yes I had one just like it and it was hard to connect to wifi until I installed an android program on it.

It has Wi-Fi there should be instructions that you can follow step by step on the website or the help built into the hard drive. But it does have Wi-Fi and is designed to use the Internet

It is what it is. I don't know if you can upgrade it or what you can do with it but it works. It has solitaire and you can get Wi-Fi on it to get on the internet. Wpa

@sopoorcansurvive, No, you need your own Internet access to connect to with this device. You can take it to someplace that has free Wi-Fi and connect, or your own Internet that you pay for.

Yes but you'll probably have to connect it the first time you use it physically to your router. Like when you set up a wireless printer.
