these seeds are from trees that were given to my grandfather by the conservation corps they were said to be black mulberry and they do turn black when ripe
they are abundant producers and the only problem that l have had with them is that l have to beat the birds and squirrels to the berries

I know what you mean about the birds. I had 41+ acres of undeveloped land and only got berries off of 1 tree every year and left the rest to them & still had to fight the blue jays. Too bad I didn't think to grab some seeds before putting it up for sale and moving

yup those birds and squirrels can tell if they are ripe by the color lol and they are fast little critters !!!
