The newest feature to the 40D is Live View which allows photographers to use the LCD screen as their viewfinder. It is very useful for taking pictures low to the ground, when your eye cannot reach the viewfinder. The shutter noise is quieter in this mode as well.Focusing screens, an AF-ON button, the EOS Integrated Cleaning System sensor dust reduction, rubber strips around the battery and CF doors for improved weather sealing battery grip.[5]

My daughter is in film and photography school and they still recommend this camera as one of the best. I gave her mine ( a rebel t1) and they told her this one is better

This is an amazing listing! I bought one like this a few years ago and paid 1100$ for it without all the extras and each lens is still over 100$ each to get the extra ones!

Must have lens on camera to take pictures, it is interchangeable meaning you can take it off and use other compatible lens can be used with all EF and EFS Canon lens or others by made by Vivitar and SIgma, etc. the canon lens I am including sells currently for $300.00

Such a cute kitty! I hope that was a typo and you meant a mouse! Hope kitty is ok! I have a bunch myself. I did have one that had cancer of the jaw started on her lip, She lived to be 23 or 24 I forget now, Was the longest living cat I've had! Best of luck with your kitty! And your camera! I'm an artist too, not sure I can handle more than a point and shoot! Lol! I'm not the most mechanically inclined!(I've been known to leave the lens cap on haha!! Look I own a SX50HS probably more for the point and shoot crowd, with this you zoom with the lens that is attached to the body a bit different then you are accustomed to with a point and shoot... different critter. My exotic short hair had an abscessed tooth... Gizmo should recover fine scared me. my second exotic looks like my avitar...
