It does work, you use it as an ereader or as an .mp3 player. Approximately 5 years old. Some benefits are the eink (looks like a newspaper, easy on the eyes), touch screen, back lit, stylus holder on board (with the stylus). When used in conjunction with a free program, Calibre, you can take any format of ebook, convert it if necessary, then upload directly to the ereader or use either of the two expandable memory (pro duo or sd) ports. I have a 2gb pro duo included with it.
