Are these stickers, or have to be applied with heat, etc ?

They are sticker strips that have to be applied with heat. I use a blow dryer but there is a Jamberry heater for them too. These are not like other nail stickers though. These are much stronger and not just a sticker, they last very long and have tons of designs. Very easy to put on. The material and adhesive is much better than a normal nail sticker. I am an addicted but my new job I work 5 days a week and can't wear them at work, so I'm selling all of mine and have lots more I will be listing.
